New hire’s wealth of experience will help grow the Sioux Falls Location

Great Plains Trust and Asset Management Announces Hire of William Lenker -February 3, 2016

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Great Plains Trust and Asset Management in Sioux Falls has hired a new regional account executive, William Lenker.

“Our growth in Sioux Falls over the past several years can be credited to Andy Holmes and the high-quality service he has provided clients in this region,” said Steve Soden, president of Great Plains. “We’re excited to welcome Bill to the team, and know his talent and experience will help us further our presence in South Dakota.”

Lenker joined the company earlier this year following 20 years of experience in institutional retirement and trust management at Wells Fargo Bank. At Great Plains he will be responsible for building, managing and developing existing clients as well as pursuing new relationships throughout the state.

Lenker earned his Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, South Dakota. He has his Certified Retirement Services Professional (CRSP) designation from the American Bankers Association. Lenker is active in both charitable and civic organizations in Sioux Falls including the Boy Scouts of America and United Way. He’s a lifelong resident of the area, and lives with his wife Stacey and their two children.
