Great Plains Trust Company was chartered as an independent Kansas trust company in April 1994 by the Office of the State Bank Commissioner to transact a general trust company business in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas. The company's initial business was principally comprised of providing investment management services to pension plans.
Since our inception, Great Plains Trust has expanded its overall services to include providing investment and asset management, trustee, and custody services to employee benefit plans, foundations, trusts, individuals and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs). Further, Great Plains Trust provides personal and institutional trust administration and custody services and investment management agency and custody services.
